Renewable energy has been one of NHKSB strength and core foundation to its establishment. “Towards Sustainable & Innovative Design” approach has led to our pilot project in collaboration with Cypark Resources Berhad to complete the 2MWp Solar Farm and connection to TNB Grid in 2014.
From here onwards, NHKSB have continuously strive to embark on new opportunity in this sector while keeping abreast and competitive. NHK Greentech Synergy was established to cater Green Building Facilitation, Green RE and MyCrest certification for projects within Johor and neighboring states.
Johor Land Berhad had entrusted NHKSB to undertake the refurbishment project for the existing MBJB’s Public Swimming Pool Centre in Larkin for the purpose of SUKMA 2021. The project is unique in such a way that most of the existing structure have to be maintain while the swimming pool and diving pool have to be modified and equipped with the latest swimming competition equipment and complying with FINA and ASUM regulation.
The project was kicked off in late 2016 and was completed in 2020 with an overall project value of RM 30,000,000.00.
NHKSB was awarded with Mechanical & Electrical Permitting Contract for EPCC of the LNG Regasification Facilities by Samsung C&T (KL) Sdn. Bhd. In 2015. The overall project value is RM 2,700,000,000.00 and was completed in February 2018.
Main component of the project were 2 units of LNG Tanks (200,000m3) each, Regasification Unit, Seawater Intake and other ancillary facilities. NHKSB had successfully completed all the permitting works on time and have received recognition from Samsung C&T (KL) Sdn. Bhd. For the services that have been rendered.
A modern public transportation hub is the heart of any major cities around the world. The necessity to upgrade the existing Larkin Bus Terminal has been identified by Larkin Sentral Property Sdn. Bhd. to cater the ever growing population in Johor Bahur. NHKSB have been entrusted to undertake the project in late 2015. Amongst the major component of works that have been carried out was digitization of ticketing & information system, a modern and comfortable passenger waiting area and other architectural/structural upgrading works. The project have been successfully completed in 2018.
A partnership with KPRJ Builders Sdn. Bhd. for the Design & Build tender to build additional attraction ‘Ninjago’ for Legoland Malaysia was another success story for NHKSB. The project was successfully secured in 2016. Equipped with cutting edge hand gesture technology & breathtaking 4D immersion for Ninjago rides have been the highlight for this project. A study trip to Ninjago Billund, Denmark was conducted to understand the concept prior to implementation of the system in Malaysia. To able to work with foreigners have provide NHKSB with invaluable experience and enhance its competitiveness in the ever demanding consultancy services market. The project have been successfully completed in 2018.
As progressive and proactive M&E Consultant, NHKSB has been actively involved in Design & Build project. In 2016, together with Muar Usaha Bakti Sdn. Bhd., NHKSB have participated in the Design & Build tender by UTEM and have successfully won the contract value of RM 55,000,000.00 to construct a new Manufacturing Faculty in UTeM campus. NHKSB scope of works were to design basic Mechanical & Electrical Services, State of the Art Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) system, Interfacing works with existing SCADA & BMS system & ICT system. The project has been successfully completed, obtained Melaka Green Seal Certification and handed over to client in 2020.
In late 2018, NHKSB have been awarded for M&E Consultancy works of an auspicious project, Holiday Villa Hotel @ Bukit Pelali. Located with 365 acre of Bukit Pelali Township, the resort theme hotel shall be the most convenient place for business travelers to PIPC (Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex) as well as local Johorians whom are looking for short term vacation nearby. Although it is still in planning stage, upon commencement of the project, it will be a benchmark to NHKSB involvement in Hospitality industry.
NHKSB is well know for its vast capability in handling a wide range of complex projects. We have the ability and willingness to learn new things while meeting with our client expectations for the services rendered. Lembaga Getah Malaysia in 2016 have entrust NHKSB to design and develop an ENR & DPNR grade rubber production & research facilities in Kota Tinggi, Johor.
Among the major scope of works were to improve existing coagulation and maturation process involving trial runs of prototype, cutting edge IR 4.0 process automation technology and other conventional equipment such as creeper, granulator/ pre breaker, burner and other associated equipment. The project is schedule to be completed in late 2020.
A well planned M&E infrastructure is a key factor for any investor to take up an industrial plot for their establishment, manufacturing plants, distribution centre, warehousing or other business activities. NHKSB the experiences to undertake such project which mainly involves major public utilities plant; MTIP – 4 Units of Pencawang Pengagihan Utama (PPU), PIP – 1 Unit of Pencawang Masuk Utama and 2 units of Pencawang Pengagihan Utama, SIP – 2 Units of Pencawang Pengighan Utama, Water reservoir and pumping stations, sewerage treatment plants, telecommunication infra and street lighting.
Being an established M&E consultant in Johor, we have relationship with the relevant utilities providers such as Tenaga National Berhad, Telekom Malaysia, Ranhill SAJ, IWK and other local authorities. This will be vital point to ensure a successful and timely completion of a major M&E infrastructure works.
A total of 3 blocks, 49 & 48 storey comprising of 1388 units apartment is currently being constructed within Bandar Baru Majidee development along Jalan Tebrau. The project have been planned since 2014 but only in 2019, the ground works have started. NHKSB was awarded for the M&E Consultancy works for the said project by TH Tebrau Land Sdn. Bhd. With the overall project value of RM 270,000,000.00 and will be completed in 2023. This project may have placed NHKSB amongst the leading M&E Consultant in Johor as we strive towards engineering excellence for many years to come.
