COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMICS

CFD is a branch of fluid mechanics and heat transfer that uses numerical analysis and data structures to analyze and solve problems that involve fluid flows. CFD was introduced 40 years ago. As CFD has been upgraded and improved its application year over year, now, CFD is very popular among engineers in designing complex engineering designs and research. Therefore, NHKSB has also not been left behind to utilize CFD in its services.

The advantage of CFD is quickly assessing geometry and flow modification for design without restoring to the prototype. Thus, users and engineers may save a lot of time, cost, and afford by using CFD in construction projects. Now, CFD application has been extended, not only for the thermo-fluid field but also for the applied mechanic, structure, and fire safety application.
